Position: Part-time Hire Controller
Location: Hazel grove Stockport.
Working Hours: 16 hours per week (Monday – Tuesday, 9 am – 5 pm)
Salary: Depending on experience

Essential Skills:
⚙️ Previous office experience required.
⚙️ Strong telephone communication skills.
⚙️ Proficient in Microsoft Office.
⚙️ Excellent written communication skills.
⚙️ Aptitude for learning new software, particularly Protean, utilised by our office.
⚙️ Capable of performing effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced office environment.
⚙️ Ability to collaborate effectively as a member of a team.
The Role:
As a Hire Controller in our busy Rentals Office, you will play a crucial role in coordinating nationwide rentals of forklifts and plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
⚙️ Respond to rental enquiries, negotiate rates, and provide timely quotes.
⚙️ Utilise the Protean system for efficient reporting.
⚙️ Communicate with customers and suppliers via phone and email.
⚙️ Build positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
⚙️ Provide administrative support across various rental office functions.
⚙️ Use software systems to generate orders and maintain contracts.
⚙️ Manage incoming emails and phone calls.
⚙️ Organise hires, deliveries, and collections, reporting any issues.
⚙️ Verify contracts at month-end for accurate invoicing.
⚙️ Execute weekly and daily tasks in line with rental enquiries.
