As Operations Director, you will be at the heart of our mission to independently support businesses in optimising the movement of materials and products. You will lead the charge in delivering exceptional service and sustainable solutions to our customers, helping our established teams to create a better working environment for all.
This role offers you a unique opportunity to drive and influence positive change across our growing operation. We are looking for someone with a Minimum of 5yrs+ experience in Operations management. Who thrives within this environment to join as our ‘Operations Director.’

⚙️ Proven leadership experience in operations management. Ability to manage direct reports.

⚙️Regularly visit each depot within the group.
⚙️ Candidates with experience as Operations Manager within a Material Handling / plant / equipment hire, M&E Engineering contracting, or transport / logistics background would be preferred, however, candidates with the relevant Operations Manager experience from any background will be considered.
Are you ready to step into a pivotal leadership role with Stacatruc, a leading material handling company with over 40 years of industry experience? As we continue to expand, we are searching for a dynamic ‘Operations Director’ who will bring fresh ideas and a proactive approach to our team.
You will be responsible for managing and motivating the operational team to ensure targets are met in line with the required health and safety, quality, cost, delivery and people metrics to support all the business processes. A natural leader, you will ensure your team is well-directed and will lead them effectively through regular communication, training and development. Catering to every need of our customers. You will meet budgeted targets and expectations, with overall responsibility for people and always ensuring operational excellence, productivity and process management, ensuring improvements across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
⚙️ Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency.
⚙️ Lead and inspire a team to achieve operational excellence.
⚙️ Leadership experience and managing direct reports. A forward thinking approach.
⚙️ Reviving poor business and operational performance.
⚙️ Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to support the growth and sustainability of the business.
⚙️ Change management and the process of change management.
⚙️ Ensuring that Service standards are exceeded and maintain those standards. Building strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and staff. Helping another to reach their potential by coaching and development.
⚙️ Developing and managing the people plan to create an adaptive and pro-active team, promoting clear and effective communications at all levels where business priorities are understood.
⚙️ Full responsibility for Fiscal performance and P & L.
⚙️ To be able to stay aligned to the strategic plan and report to the board. Determining your teams and customer needs through a consultative approach when interacting with all involved parties.
⚙️ Liaising with the Group Operations Manager and individual Depot Operation Managers to ensure service priorities are delivered.
⚙️ Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
⚙️ ISO Accreditation and experience in successful implementation. To uphold various industry accreditations including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and Thorough Examination
⚙️ Hold a valid permit to work in the UK.
